Serving Christ at Lake Lundgren Bible Camp

Dear Friends of Lake Lundgren Bible Camp,

Ministry Update:  “...let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus..” (Hebrews 12:1b-2a).  Winter retreat season can seem like an endurance race at times, with 1-2 retreat groups here every weekend and keeping up with program planning; helping maintain ice skating areas, tube runs and ski trails; leading our church’s youth group; and balancing home life.  However, it’s all worth it when you get comments on evaluations like, “I became a Christian!” (from Winterfest Youth Retreat), “2 of our teens accepted Christ this weekend” (from a rental group), “it was a great time to relax and rest in Christ” (Ladies Retreat), “I was challenged to forgive” (from Men’s Retreat), and “After 29 years of marriage...this year stirred our hearts relationally and spiritually like none before” (from Couples’ Retreat).

As you can see, the Lord used our Winter retreat programs to convict, encourage and bless our campers. We are now shifting our focus to planning the many details of our 8 weeks of summer camps and 2 family camps.  Our theme this year is Dig Deep: Finding and Living the Truth

Our Need:  Our work here at LLBC cannot be accomplished without faithful prayer and financial support.  All LLBC staff are missionaries graciously supported by churches, family, and friends.  Psalms 37:5 is the verse we claimed as we made the decision in the Spring of 2006 to come on staff here at Lake Lundgren Bible Camp.  Brad was completing 21 years of active duty in the Coast Guard when we felt called to the ministry here.

When we came in August 2006, it was a BIG step of faith.  Since the camp had been without a program director for nearly two years, we were asked to come prior to raising support and offered an 18-month decreasing subsidy to supplement what support we had already raised.  To date we have raised nearly 40% of our $2,500 monthly support goal.  Our immediate need is to raise $200 more in monthly support to replace the camp’s subsidy, which ended in February, and meet Wisconsin’s minimum wage requirement.

If you are not doing so already, would you be interested in partnering with us in God’s exciting work here at LLBC?

If so, please print this page and fill out the form below and send to:

Thank you.

Serving Him,
Brad, Kim, Mike & Stephanie
